At Pyles Boys Camp, the strength of our mission is carried not only by the dedicated staff and board members but also by our incredible alumni. This year, their contributions have been nothing short of extraordinary, proving that the Pyles spirit continues to thrive long after their time as campers or staff.
A year of Generosity and Impact
Our alumni have been integral in making 2024 a standout year. From volunteering their time and expertise to making in-kind contributions that directly benefit our camp, their support has been invaluable:
• Volunteers Galore: Over 150 alumni gave their time to work parties, reunions, and events, embodying the spirit of service that Pyles instills.
• Essential Contributions: From in-kind donations valued at over $20,000 to specific gifts of time and talent. Pyles has benefited from the skill of our alumni.
• Special Projects: Notable donations include approximately $8,000 worth of improvements to the camp office and a custom-made fire ring adding both functionality and charm to our facilities.
• Health and Wellness: Alumni coordinated over 75 physicals for our staff and campers, an essential service, ensuring everyone was ready to participate in our life-changing programs.

Nearly 100% of our monthly donors are alumni or friends/family of alumni, reflecting their ongoing belief in the work we do. Additionally, alumni and families joined together to support our recent mess hall matching campaign, underscoring their commitment to ensuring future generations of campers can experience the transformative power of Pyles.
