I am thrilled to share the incredible success of the recent fundraising event hosted by the Wildcat crew, longtime champions of R. M. Pyles Boys Camp. Despite the heat, countless Wildcats showed up and volunteered their time to help make this event a HUGE success!
Thanks to their unwavering dedication and the generosity of our community, we raised an astounding $30,000! This remarkable achievement will play a crucial role in our mission to empower young boys to grow into responsible and compassionate men through our leadership program.
Our leadership program is designed to instill core values in our boys—integrity, resilience, and respect—equipping them with the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges. With the funds from this event, we can continue to offer transformative experiences that inspire confidence and foster personal growth. Many of our alumni came and assisted with the day. Thank you to Ed “Chain” Cadena, Roman “Bravo” Gutierrez and = Vincente “Gazoo” Herrerra and fried of Pyles, John Steele, for your hard work. Additionally, while at the event, Pyles reconnected with Pyles alumni and local hero, Blaine Hodge.
A heartfelt thank you to the Wildcat crew and all our sponsors for their incredible support. Your commitment to our mission is invaluable, and we are excited to see the impact of your generosity on our boys’ futures. Special thanks to KGET-Tv17 Bakersfield Compassion Corner for making this event a reality!
Together, we are raising not just funds, but hopes and dreams for the young men we serve.
Let’s keep the momentum going!
With gratitude,
Brandie “Peaches” McAdams
