At Pyles Camp, we have a saying: "T.E.A.M. - Together Everyone Achieves More." This phrase rang true during our 3-day office work party last week.

Our camp office benefited tremendously from the support of many Pyles alumni who volunteered their time, talent, and mentorship.

On Friday, Vidal Flooring, led by Pyles alum Raul “Thinker”Jimenez, donated a 3-person crew. They removed old carpet in our conference room and polished the concrete floors. We're so grateful to “Thinker” and his team for this amazing donation.

Alum Mike “Spike” McAdams designed and mentored our younger volunteers in how to do tile mosaics while Alum Lupe “Jockey” Solis grouted and taught how to finish the mountain mosaic.

On Sunday, a crew of 28 Pyles alumni and friends accomplished numerous projects including:

Landscaping the front entrance
Repairing electrical fixtures
Fixing plumbing issues
Painting the conference room
Organizing storage spaces

In addition to completing these tasks, our skilled volunteers mentored younger Pyles alumni, guiding them in trades like electrical work and plumbing.

We're so thankful to all the volunteers who gave their time, expertise, and guidance. They truly embodied our T.E.A.M. philosophy and allowed our office to get a major upgrade!
