Dale “Bamm-Bamm” Decker Jr, Camp Director

Dale “Bamm-Bamm” Decker Jr. has been a proud part of the Pyles Camp family since 1995, growing from a camper into a dedicated leader. With over 25 years of experience as a camper, counselor, Program Director, and now Camp Director, Bamm-Bamm embodies the transformative spirit of the Pyles Program. His firsthand knowledge of its life-changing impact fuels his passion for carrying forward Mr. Pyles’s vision to all who are ready to accept the Challenge.

Before committing to camp as his full-time career, Bamm-Bamm earned a degree in Organizational Leadership from California Lutheran University. His diverse professional background includes serving as an Associate Producer and Production Coordinator for reality television across America and working as a high school teacher in Buffalo, NY.

Outside of camp, Bamm-Bamm enjoys movies, football, and all things nerdy. At Pyles, he is joined by his wife, Jessica “Pebbles,” and their two children, making it a true family affair. Known for his unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, Bamm-Bamm continues to inspire and uplift the Pyles Camp community.
